SOL. TIOX. SRL was founded as a NewCo in December 2025 as a property of Sol.Mar Group for 1% and Nuova Solmine for 99%.
It inherits the Venator Italy plant in Scarlino (Grosseto), built in ‘70s by Montedison to produce titanium dioxide. SOL. TIOX. starts its activities in 2026 for the production of all titanium specialties for which the site of Scarlino is famous all over the world.
Thanks to the skills of our teams and the world-class quality of our products, we have the goal of reaching the Italian, European and non-European markets, becoming a point of reference for all product sectors, as we are for sulphuric acid.
